An Up and Down Day

The last two days have been so up and down for me. My husband has started a new job that takes him away traveling 4 nights a week and yesterday as I was going through the day I was missing him terribly.  I have friends here in town that have more children than I do and they have husband’s who travel as well.  I called my friend Tanya who I just told her that I had to give her mad props for doing what she’s doing. She’s doing an amazing job raising her three beautiful little girls and just doing so many other things as well!

So, that’s been my downner plus the fact that I had this huge goal to be at a 30 pound loss by this coming Friday.  I’ve worked out so much so that my entire body is just sore sore sore!  Last night I did the elipitical for an hour.  Yeah you read that right.  When I got home I could barely go up my stairs in my home.  I’m sitting at a 26 pound loss.  Not sure I can make it to 30 by Friday but I just keep plugging away at this.  I have to remember that slow and steady is better than fast and furious b/c usually when it comes off super fast it will come back.

As long as I’m making very healthy choices I’m on the right track!  Anyway, the last day has also been amazing.  I don’t want to talk about it yet but let me tell you I’m just beaming with excitement.  A lot of my portrait customers kind of know that I teach workshops all over the place and teach lighting to other photographers.  Well, there is something brewing in that area of my life.  I have had two separate people contact me in the last 24 hours about doing something with me.

I am absolutely amazed.  I can be so absolutely sad about my husband being gone but then here God is totally blessing me in my business.  I am so thankful to God for keeping our heads above water after my husband was laid off from his job of 10 years.  So so thankful.

thanks for reading my thoughts.:)

Love this Ali. Love how you are so open too. (makes me feel normal about my life! lol) Its been up and down here too… hubby is out of work due to knee surgery, and his work is being difficult about when he can return. But, even through it all, I see God’s blessings as well. You are so amazingly talented, and Im so happy that things are going so well for you in your business. Good luck on the nights while your hubby is travelling! I’ve been there! {{hugs}}

oooh Ali, you should do something…in the area that is brewing…so talented!
And, also…working out hard, you’re going to be building lean muscle & your body will change and not see it on the scale (muscle weighs more than fat). I went through that. I think it just means that you’re to that point of total physiological change..you’re doing awesome!!! So excited for you. You go girl.
