Last night I got to photograph Hannah! She was so much fun to work with! I can’t wait to do her senior session this summer!!

I was just in Utah on Tuesday with a bunch of girlfriends that I’ve made over the last couple years since I had started teaching. Monday night my friend and I flew out there just to spend the day with some photographers on Tuesday and then we flew back Wednesday morning. My trip was amazing. I can’t thank my friend Melissa enough for letting me go on a buddy pass to fly out there.
Well we spent all day laughing, crying, telling jokes, making new inside jokes. We had a blast. See, April 3rd was a very significant day for me. My husband and I lost our second child two years ago April 3rd and with that date coming right up I began to get extremely depressed. So, my friend suggested she take me on a trip and I was asked where I wanted to go and I knew immediately I had to go to Utah. See, after I lost our baby I became very public about it and I met so many women who had gone thru the same things as me. I got to meet up with them and then to put the cherry on top of the cake, we did a fantastic shoot styled by another friend of mine Camilla Binks.
I feel so incredibly refreshed after this super amazing trip. I couldn’t be more thankful than being able to go see and spend a day with some of my best girlfriends.
I already miss it so much there I was texting my husband to see if he could find a job transfer to Salt Lake City…… lol I don’t know if it will ever happen but I would absolutely love to move out there.
Taking photos in Utah is like no other. The light is absolutely amazing. I’ve been there 6 times now and I have never been disappointed.
Here are some of my favorite images of my favorite person to photograph. I’ve taken her photos before and have become friends with liz. She’s an amazing girl. I adore her.
I will post more once I get more edited but for now I have to work on client images too. This is what I needed. I feel so refreshed and ready to take on the world. lol

Wow, I realize how horrible I am at blogging and keeping up with so many different pages between my blog, facebook personal, business pages etc. I have really lacked in the area of blogging. I guess it’s a good thing because I’ve just been super busy with work but I hope to set time aside and blog more.
I am now on the hunt for senior models for 2013! It’s that time of year that I start interviewing the seniors and photographing you! I am so excited with this nice weather we are having!! If you are interested in being a senior model click on the Senior Model Application and fill that out for me.
